To whom it may concern,
I wanted to tell you of the excellent service my daughter and I received at your Osteria Del Campagne restaurant this evening. We had just arrived in Kanazawa today and were tired and hungry. We do not eat meat or fish which can be challenging given our lack of Japanese. After arriving by cab, we were graciously met by Mr Syuichi. He had many reservations for the evening and we were willing to sit at the bar but he kindly offered us a table that was not reserved until later. He then proceeded to show us the menu/wine menu in English and understood our vegetarian needs. (Our trip was unexpected and thus, we have no Japanese language skills.)
We chose a set course dinner and he ensured our vegetarian needs were met with each course. He was also very sweet with my daughter and we learned that his daughter is about the same age. At the end of the meal, he called a cab for us and ensured that the cab knew where to go and that we were in the cab before returning into the restaurant. He also gifted my daughter with a box of chocolate wafers - her favorite!
Lastly, we also saw him interact with another foreign couple. I was embarrassed by how rude this couple was to Mr Syuichi when there was not a table available and they would have to sit at the bar. He, very calmly and politely explained the situation, got them situated, took care of their bags and coats, and made them content.
Mr. Syuichi's level of professionalism and personalization with his customers is outstanding. You all have hired well and I sincerely hope you know what a gem you have on your team!
